Our team, combining employment counsellors, guidance counsellors, youth workers and other experts, collaborates to contribute to the success of our young people.

For more than 12 years of believing in the mission of the CJE, my knowledge of the organization and my desire to inspire young people and the community have led me to accept this new challenge as Executive Director. I want to thank the members of the board of directors for trusting me. In this year of change, they have shown commitment and donated a considerable number of volunteer hours to review the general regulations. Thank you for your exceptional involvement!

This year 2022—23 was a year of change for the CJE team. I would like to thank the management team, Martine and Talia, who gave me invaluable support during this transition period. A huge thank you to the people who stayed on board despite the waves and who have the CJE and the young people tattooed on their hearts. Thanks to those who have taken up new challenges elsewhere, but who have marked the CJE each in their own way. Thank you to the new employees who have chosen to come and support the mission and values of the CJE by engaging in this new professional challenge. This year, I had the opportunity to develop a new motivated and inspiring team that makes CJE a dynamic, professional and vibrant environment!

The last year has also been marked by a shortage of workers. This reality is transforming the labour market and, by the same token, leading us to use our creativity to meet the needs of young people, while maintaining the valuable collaborative relationships that we have had for so many years with partners and businesses. Young people are finding themselves on the labour market more and we are convinced that it is important that we be present to support them. They are also experiencing more anxiety and isolation and we aspire to remain a space for reflection and experimentation so that all young people aged 15 to 35 in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region can develop their full potential.
