Job description

Under the responsibility of the Senior Human Resources Advisor, the incumbent of the position carries out activities related to staffing. In particular, she collaborates with managers to assess staff needs, develop and review job descriptions, and determine competency profiles. She identifies various talent attraction strategies, develops assessment tools, and acts as an advisor to selection committee members during the analysis of applications and interviews. Finally, the incumbent acts as an ambassador for the City during various events related to his field of expertise.

Requirements

1. Formation

- Bachelor's degree (BAC) in human resources management;

- Member in good standing of the Order of Human Resources Advisors (CRHA) (asset).

2. Experiment

- Minimum two (2) years of experience in talent acquisition.

3. Knowledge

- Knowledge of labor laws;

- Knowledge of social media and various recruitment platforms;

- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

4. Others

- Proficiency in spoken and written French.

Tasks

1. Staffing Management

1.1. Plan, organize and coordinate all the steps of the selection processes, prepare detailed timelines and ensure their follow-up;

1.2. Collaborate with managers in the development and revision of job descriptions as well as in the determination of job competency profiles;

1.3. Develop assessment tools;

1.4. Play an advisory role with members of the selection committees during the analysis and pre-selection of applications;

1.5. Plan and coordinate selection interviews, participate in them, act in an advisory role with selection committee members and submit recommendations;

1.6. Carry out all the complementary checks that are customary in terms of staffing in accordance with the laws in force;

1.7. In collaboration with the Communications Department, develop and implement communication strategies aimed at attracting the best talent;

1.8. Act as an ambassador for the City during events such as job fairs, open days, job fairs and networking days;

1.9. Participate in the welcome and integration of new employees.

2. Administrative and financial management

2.1. Assist the Senior Human Resources Advisor in the implementation of hiring and staffing policies, programs and procedures;

2.2. Organize presentations and conduct information meetings for managers on topics within their responsibilities;

2.3. Conduct various research, complete internal reports, and compile and analyze statistics on the hiring and staffing activities of the Human Resources Department.

3. Others

3.1. Comply with occupational health and safety requirements;

3.2. Act as an intervener during emergency measures when required;

3.3. Perform any other task related to his areas of responsibility.
